Paris train travel is very fast and efficient and has provided an excellent platform at which the towns can connect with each other very fast. There are three main rail stations in Paris which are; Gare du Nord, Gare du Lyon and Gare Montparnasse that travel from the North, Southeast and the Southwest respectively.
The first destination is Amiens that is located in the North part of Paris. This is a great stop mainly due to the fact that there are beautiful cathedrals with the largest one being located here. The Gothic church is the biggest cathedral in France that is located in Amiens.
The second stop is the Rouen that is also located in the North part of Paris. This town happens to be the fifth biggest port and has big cathedral that is called the Rouen and in the opposite direction is Gothic that is well known to have a sixteenth century carved door that is made of wood.
Reims is yet another another must see stop. The cathedral that is presented belongs to the group of Gothic that comprises of three churches that were constructed in the fourteenth century. The cathedral was utilized in the past as a coronation cathedral of the monarchs of France and it dates back to Clovis. It is town full of pedestrian who are stroll the streets and there are numerous shops that are filled with the finest wines and champagne.
On the East side of Paris is the city of Metz that is situated in the river Mozelle. The cathedral square has got a beautiful market. The cathedral has got very nice looking glasses that have got the names of strong designers on them.
Strasbourg is located in the East part of France and got a German touch to it. This particular part of France was exchange ably handed over time again between France and Germany. The city is very historic and a lot of events are related to the Second World War.
