Lucerne is a small city that is situated in the heart of the country. The city has a number of stunning views which are otherwise difficult to obtain on the other parts of the world. The city has a perfect setting that is set in the medieval times with a number of historical buildings and hotels. Some of the places worth visiting in this place are:
- Chapel Bridge: This Bridge is the trademark of the city. The bridge was built during the 14th century as a means to protect the city from the invaders. As you walk through it you will see more than 100 pictures that described the lifestyle of people at that time.
- Swiss Transport Museum: The museum is known for its collection of various cars, trucks, planes and trains that belonged to different eras.
- KKL: This is a spectacular building that has a number of concert halls and an art museum. The place has played host to several international orchestra concerts and performances.
- Another place to visit is the Old Town of Lucerne. This part has a complex maze of streets and passages which are famous for its murals on its walls.
